In November 2014, we were named to Michigan’s Top Ten Pie list!!
We are honored, humbled, and astounded!
Here is a link to an article about the judges visit. Indeed, we are number 6 on the list and the others are all BIG bakeries. WE are just lil’ ole us…a Bed and Breakfast. Wow. And we were sure busy over Thanksgiving and Christmas with pie and scone orders, Holy Pie Batman!

Also letting you know how wonderfully the new 4-season room has turned out in the Inn-Port Cabin. This room is fast rivaling the 1920’s Room in popularity. We do plan to place a mini-fridge and coffee service in both of those rooms, but are carefully considering how to do it unobtrusively.

I also just finished updating our website and adding new packages and specials. A busy season sure can keep me from keeping that updated! Can you believe I found one place I still had language that there was no bathroom in the Inn-Port Cabin (I believe our wonderful guests, the Clarks, actually initially pointed it out). That wonderful bathroom was installed by June 2014.
I ask you to let me know if you ever see a typo or confusing language…or something like the missing bathroom. I am web mastering both of our websites and both of our business Facebook pages, as well as twitter….all in my spare time; as our GUESTS are the most important focus.
Have a look at our updates. Our prices have not gone up this year and, in some cases the 2015 prices are LOWER. (can you believe all the news that is in this one blog post?)
